Biscuits!
Keep it simple is the biscuit credo, man. Five ingredients and don’t make yourself nuts.
In a big ass bowl mix together:
2 cups white flour
2 ½ teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
Then drop in 6 tablespoons frosty cold butter, cut into little squares.
With 2 butter knives start a cross slicing motion until all of the butter is blended in and the bowl looks like it is filled with breadcrumbs. There will be some that are big like peas, and that’s okay.
Then dump in ¾ milk and mix with a spatula or spoon until a dough ball begins to form.
Turn this out onto a floured counter and roll out to about ½ inch thick. You can either use a drinking glass to cut out rounds, or just slice them into squares. Place on a greased baking sheet with space between the biscuits.
Bake at for 10 minutes or until toasty brown.
