XVII-The Star

Every once in a while, we are blessed with crystal clear vision. It can happen at any time, and I have often found that if we actively look for it, we will generally fail to get it. The type of clear vision I am referring to usually only comes once we have utterly surrendered.

Fuck it.

I quit.

It can’t get any worse, so who cares?

That place. You know the one. Actually, we just talked about it. I think you all know the feeling of the Tower by now, right? Shit went down and it is all rubble around you. Play that metaphor out across all avenues of human life...getting fired, getting dumped, losing a home. When the Tower strikes, you are pretty much wiped out. And you know the one thing that you let go of during that process? The one thing you didn’t even know you were holding onto with a death grip?

Control. Yep. You lost it back there, and if you are smart, you slipped right into trust. You buckled up and threw your arms up in the air and screamed for all you were worth as you just took that damn ride knowing you are not even remotely in control. Scary shit, but man what a valuable lesson.

The Star shows up when you have mastered that ride. The moment you can get on the bus of Spirit and take the scary-ass ride knowing—just knowing—that you don’t know where it is going to end up is the moment that you earn the right to have control and drive the ride where you want it to go. Until then you are firmly in the “God laughs at your plans” seat. But once you understand, and can tolerate, and maybe even enjoy knowing that you do not, can not and should not manage and control every bit of your manifestation life is the moment that your manifestation skill really comes online.

Its a paradox. I know, but hear me out.

Everything in spiritual development is this way. If you sit around and micro-manage your evolution, you will utterly fail to evolve. But if you throw your hands up and just let it all go the way it goes, you will also fail to evolve. There is that potent edge where you have let go of petty desires that have you obsessively clipping out magazine pictures to paste on a board and instead grab onto the tide of creation that lets you literally manifest everything you have ever wanted with very little effort. But unless you go through the first you will not make it to the second. And you have to experience the destruction of the first to understand how the second functions. And then you have to get to the point where you realize that clinging to the first or the second misses the point.

You just live in the beauty of the guidance that shows up every second, and always at just the right time.

The Star is beautiful. And it resonates as a Beautiful Goal. It comes at the hands of suffering, surrender and complete awe. This is the beginning of true power, and it teaches you how to have a very simple, very guiding principle that gets you through all of your human life with ease and grace. The Star is surrender in the Greater Guidance, carefully manged and shepherded by the Earthly Heart. It is knowing what you need and what you want, and then allowing it to take shape and form in the way that is most harmonious to your greater development.

Control with no control. Manifesting without expectation. Creation without timeline. The Star asks you to pick a point, pay attention and let the path to the goal show itself. You are cultivating an ease here that can only come through the hands of trust.

Keep your heart on the prize and your faith in the process. If you know these things to be true, they will come to you. In better ways than you could have ever imagined.
