Shopping List & Menu

Y’all. OMG, y’all….

I can’t even with what’s been going on. So much, you know? And it brings up so much that we didn’t know about ourselves, asking us to find what’s important and how we can help. I used to think that helping was all about yoga and metaphysics—and I do help that way, for sure.

But what I have come to realize is that I learned a lot from being a broke-ass single mother yoga teacher. And I learned a lot about how to be a broke-ass chef from my grandmother, who fed a family of seven on a postman’s salary. So I guess I am saying that when it comes to getting the very, very most for my dollars from the grocery, I am a master. That’s right. I said it. A MASTER.

So I am putting together weekly lists and recipes that feed a lot of people on a little dollars. They aren’t hard, and they are healthy. I stopped giving a shit about the diet culture a couple of years ago, so I do use wheat and sugar if I need to, but I have alternative solutions if you really have a problem, so stay tuned, or reach out. Here we go, yo. Have fun.
