Shopping List & Menu

As you move through the menus, you should fine that you have enough leftovers for either home lunches, or one substantial leftover meal. If you don’t, or you want a zero leftover experience, you should adjust your purchasing to reflect that. It may take a few weeks to get the hang of low-waste cooking, but I’m confident.

Ok, this assumes that you have a healthy spice cabinet. If you don’t, you are going to want to go ahead and get your dry goods flushed out. Some things you just have to have on hand, yo. If you don’t know what these things are, please refer to my post on Building the Best Pantry. The shopping list is coming in at 90$ for a family of four, although I did choose some organic options so you may be able to find it all cheaper. And if you wait to execute when brisket is on sale, all the better.
